Keeping animals is a commitment and livestock whether kept as pets or to produce require a bit more care and commitment. They should be fine if you find someone to check on them, collect eggs, and give fresh water every so often. I think this important and will bring you peace of mind while vacation as well as give your animals the same.
If I can not find someone to help out or someone I can pay to check on my animals I do not leave.
