We're definitely getting another pup - I think!

Our lease money for the upcoming year was just delivered, so I called DH to tell him.
He said that some of it will go towards next years property taxes and insurance, but enough should be left over to get Jax a baby brother!

We'll have to decide whether to get a puppy from the current litters the breeder has (if they're not all sold already), which would make the pup a half-brother to Jax (same sire); or wait until Jax's mom is bred again next year? for a full brother.

Okay, I just checked the breeder's website and they have one 3 week old sable male that would be a half brother to Jax. This evening we're going to email the breeder to see when they plan to breed Jax's dam again.
The thing is, DH would like a pup from the breeder's other male, who is the son of a german champion, but at the same time he wants a pup just as dark as Jax. To get the darkness the pup would have to come from Jax's sire.
Decisions! Decisions!
The new puppy already has a name and he probably hasn't even been born yet.

Yep, I just heard back from the breeder and the beautiful sable male is still available!
