There wasn't a whole lot to choose from because of the time of year, and I have kids so I wanted something docile. So we went with 2 Gold Wyandotte, 2 Dominque and 2 White Slilkie Bantans. Hubs is starting on the coop tomorrow, they won't be delivered until after 10/28. I'm a really anxious first time Chickey Mommy!!!!

Hi! Our family is just getting started and have taken lots of inspiration from your Chicken Coop page! We are starting to build today!  Just wondering though, would anyone have an help on locating chicks? We are looking to build a coop for 6 egg layers, but need to find 6 egg layers!
