im off rimber ridge road , gosh the ice was bad last week ...im hapy they plow the roads quickly... nice to meet u ....all...i just ordered some faverolle eggs and im trying to hatch . or i should say my incubator is. my2 silkie hens are bizzy with the 3 maran chicks (1 hen and 2 rooster chicks ) i hope to start breeding them . i will soon be looking for a home for my 1 maran rooster but there still young and the silkie moms will be mad if i take them away .. by the way my name is randy also watch out for them darn racoons . they killed 5 nice hens of mine so i improved ther pen so much not even light can get in lol lol

I might be interested in the roo. I have too many bantam light brahma roos, and need to rid myself of 1 blue silkie roo and some white silkie roos. The white silkies are too young for me to decide which ones I want to keep yet.

The white silkies do not go in by themselves at night. Every night my husband or I have to pick them up and put them to bed. Stupid little chickens!

Hey y'all, I contacted the tractor supply in Martinsburg todays about hosting out swap meet this spring. Im supposed to call back and speak with the manager on Friday but dude said he thought it wouldn't be a problem. So start thinking what birdies you might be in the market for or what you may want to part with... also might be some crafts there and chicks as well as poultry supplies.

Im thinking the end of April?

**And ALWAYS remember when bringing in new birds, keep them in quarantine for a couple weeks at least to make sure nothing nasty manifests. ** We've all heard the horror stories and I want this to be a fun event and everyone to play safe
