Hello! Just signed up for BYC a few minutes ago! I am in Cabell county WV! I started buying chicks from our local farm store at the end of March, now I have 26 chicks and 4 ducks! I have golden comets, aracaunas, silver laced wyandottes, buff orpingtons, black australorps, and barred rocks! I am going to need lots of help, glad to know there are so many other West Virginians on here!

Farm House in Milton, WV. Feed, supplies, etc. we have goats and I have always got feed from them, when we decided to start getting chickens they were getting chicks in so I bought a few a week there.

Is the older lady with the glass ware shop still in Milton? I used to stop in and buy something from her on my way to Blenko but I haven't been through there for about 17 years now. You might not even know who I'm thinking of - I can't remember the name of the little shop now.

I'm not sure, we just moved to Milton last summer. Been so busy with the animals I never get a chance to just go in and shop! Lol

Welcome Molly ! My husband was born and partly raised in Pax. Are you close to Pax? We still have relatives there ,but only 2cd or 3rd generation cousins I think. Maybe a very old aunt in Oak Hill.
