Western Capercaillie

Hello! I know this is a very old thread but I can't help but be extremely curious about this. Searching the internet I am still unable to find any videos of people keeping Western Capercaillie. However, purelypoultry.com seems to have them listed for $5600. I am just wondering if anyone has ever actually gotten these and raised them?

You might be able to get them from Dan Snyder of Grousepark waterfowl.
I contacted him back in the early 90's....I was looking for some new blood for the Prairie chickens I raise.
I believe his price is $5,000 also!
