Western PA - sudden drop in number of eggs?

I was wondering if anybody else here had the same problem - in the last 2-3 weeks we had a drastic drop in eggs. My friend, who lives about 10 min from me has the same issue. There has been no heat waves, no molting issues etc. We can't figure out why we get about half the eggs we used to get a month ago. Nothing was changed feeding wise (except adding Jap. beetles to their menu

If you have the chickens you list only Black Stars are known for good laying. Your breed selection could be the problem.
