Hi, I'm new here. Have an old 7 x 10 greenhouse that I want to make into a coop.
Concrete floor .. corrugated polycarbonated plastic walls and ceiling .. wood frame. The roof is dirty so sun does 'not' pound into it (reason I don't use it) for a greenhouse. Floor stays dry in winter, safe from critters entering and draft free. I had 50 chickens years ago but they a great house and large run during the day. This is in a urban setting so chickens can't roam. I only want a couple of chickens for eggs and wonder if a small fan would be enough air circulation and pine shavings over concrete enough for their feet.
Here is where the house sits, high fence to the right and sidewalk to the left.

The chickens would have plenty of room to exersize inside. Planning on the roosting/ladder and roosting beds to the right side as it would be the darker side.
Anyone see problems with my ideas? Very open to my idea.
New greenhouse will be built in another area soon. Thinking I can use one existing shelf for starting seeds in th spring and warmth for both would work out.
Thank you
