We have too many roosters for our flock of hens - so we're looking to sell one to a local buyer if possible. Our Totleger birds were originally from Greenfire Farms, NPIP certified, and they are now approx. 5 months old. They are very beautiful birds!

We are located in Southern Missouri near West Plains, tucked away in the Ozarks. We are on the Arkansas border, so we could potentially meet someone near Mammoth Spring, AR.

Please let me know if you are interested and I can send you pictures. I'm sure people ship older chickens, but I've never done it, so it makes me nervous to go that route. Also not wanting to butcher this expensive rooster, that would be a shame, as they are primarly an egg laying breed vs. meatbird.

Thank you for the info! I'm new to the site. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to post again...how I did it the first time I don't know. Can you let me know what to click on in order to make a new post in that forum?

How is Deathlayer hen laying ability? I want hen that can lay very long time.

Me too. I don't want to cull my older birds simply because they stop laying! If these birds truly lay relatively well (enough for four people) until they pass, I'll gladly pay the $100+ for started pullets.

From your experience, how long do these birds live and do they really lay until they pass?

hi. I'm interested in a cock. Of course, if it's inexpensive. Email me. Thank you
