Hey, I actually had it relatively painless, I got a generator... but I would never plug my computer in to it (low voltage fluctuations bad for a laptop). Heck in the ice storm in 08, we didn't have a generator and we basically camped, its just really inconvenient more than anything. Did you guys lose power?

We lost power for about 8 days last year, but this winter we were fine until last night. I think they must have been repairing something, perhaps, because it was only out a couple of hours, but I got a little worried.
