Wesummer laying a blue egg - What gives?

Yep. My other original EE was just like this, except much darker.

My other EEs are blue birchen, wild type, and a weird gold-choclate penciled (That's the best way to describe them).

As a true Minnesotan would say (even though I am in am import) YAH, Dat looksa like a an EE, doncha know.

She has a little bit of a muff and her legs look like an EE color. There are some that may look like a purebred of a breed and still carry EE and lay tinted eggs.

But if you want to be certain it is her laying those blue ones, put a little food coloring on her vent, if it is then on the eggs you have your blue egg layer for sure.

Good luck.

Yep she looks like my EE, here is a pick of my welsummer for comparison

Yeah I honestly think it is just an EE - The most common EE color is very similar to Welsummers.

This is what my girl looks like sans proper comb. I will try to get a picture, on my dinosaur camera! No muffs or beard, just very welsummer like. I never would have thought it.
