Wet Chickens!

Hello everyone! It rained quite a bit this evening and when i came to lock up the chickens for the night, they were all soaked (except for two)! I checked the coop to see if there were any leaks and i didn’t see any, so i figured maybe they stayed out? I have no idea! It’s getting dark now so i’m not quite sure what i’m supposed to do, and i don’t want them to freeze, especially because it gets pretty cold here at night. Help!!

How cold is cold because it’s summer already. I think they’ll be fine. Chickens have so many layers that even if they look soaked they’re still warm.

Are they inside now? If so they should dry off.

If you put your hand under their outer feathers you will find they are probably dry and warm next to the skin.

I've had my flock stay out in the rain when it was barely warm enough to rain instead of snow. They went to roost looking like drowned rats! They came off the roosts in the morning, dry and fluffy without a care in the world. I'm sure yours are fine this morning too.
