Just got some silkies from a local person, they feel dry but look wet kinda a crusty thing going on
The person has way too many in to small a space without sand bath. But now the 3 cuties are in a big tub with sand, water and food at night and are spending the days outside in a safe enclosure to themselves where the rest of the flock can see them.
So my question, is there anything I should do to clean them up or assume they will eventually dust bath themselves clean?
haven’t ever had silkies before, and I assume these aren’t high quality, both parents look black but had a real mix of chicks
