I use my reg poultry feed and add grains I can get a 6 grain scratch here, I don’t have a lot of spare space in my home so I only make up a bucket at a time I use half that bucket before I start another one so my feed isn’t sitting for 3 days usually only 2. But it still has to be better than just feeding straight dry feed. My feed also has no standing water in the bottom or on top. I have found the way I make it is best for me and my flock. Yes I have tweaked it to suit my flock and me. It’s very easy to make.
