Wet pox

Update: I started them on acs on 7/4. At first I noticed some of Devs lesions going away but as of tonight’s check, some have come back. I also sadly noticed Eddie seems to be developing some in the back of her mouth while getting the treatment.
They only water they have access to is the one with copper in it. I have seen both drink out of it.

Well I just noticed the metronidazole expired in august on last year. Should I get new or will it be alright?
I will definitely monitor both of them and keep you updated.

If these Antibiotics were stored in a cool dry place, in the dark, lid on tightly, chances are they have the same potency as they did before the expiration date. It takes years of improper storage for Antibiotics to become too weak to use.

Ok, and to add on to the information. Yesterday morning, Eddie had no lesions or any issues. Last night I noticed a ‘bug bite’ looking thing next to her eye and she had lesions in her mouth.
She still has the bug bite today and I was able to take a picture. Does this look like a chicken bug bite?
Her eye isn’t shut either, just during the picture she was decide to close her eye. I also circled one of the dots she has had since I noticed it on April 30

It's possible it's a mosquito bite. You might want to spray mosquito repellent around the outside of the coop at night, around the vent areas in hopes of repeling mosquitos.

Do you think the bug bite and lesions in the throat could be related? And today I have noticed more black dots popping up on Devs comb.

Because we think they have this Pox virus, all these spots are probably related to Pox. It takes a while to fight it off, however if Pox carrying mosquitos keep biting them, this can't help the situation.
