wet scratch

I have about a quart of scratch that got wet during the last two days of rain. I was going to throw it on the compost but I know the chickens will eat it. It smells a bit fermented but not moldy. Will it hurt them? Should I throw it out somewhere they won't find it?

From my experience just throw it out in their yard and some will go into the ground and they will eat some. I doubt if they will eat the bad stuff I know mine wouldn't.
