WET TURKEY EGGS!. "does a wet egg would have a chance to hatch"

I was feeding my turkeys when i saw 2 turkey eggs on the ground while it is raining. i picked the eggs and i think the 1st egg were laid 2 days ago. does it have a chance to hatch?

There's always a chance but the rain will wash off the bloom, that combined with being on the ground would allow bacteria to enter. The bacteria could kill the embryo mid incubation.

im sorry, i am mistaken. she laid the egg on the old sofa..i allow my hen to incubate her eggs,.

If it is raining will a chicken egg hatch? Also if the temperature is under 55 will it take longer to hatch.
