Wha...? Someone told me that a "just laid" egg tastes like poo?

I eat 3 eggs every morning that are still warm from the earliest laying hens...never an issue

I can say with certainty that just laid eggs should not taste like poo. Maybe she got an old egg instead of a fresh egg, or maybe she's just repeating something she's heard somewhere else.

that's just crazy! My grandkids run to the coop to pick thier egg for me to cook immediately, not to mention the Sunday morning breakfasts that we've needed more eggs so we run to the coop. They do not taste like poop! A freshly laid egg is clean as a whistle!

that's a first! My neighbors all say how wonderful tasting my eggs are, none have ever complained about them tasting like "poo" when they're freshly laid
