Wha...? Someone told me that a "just laid" egg tastes like poo?

I wonder if the chicken who laid the eggs she was eating ate poo? Then maybe it would taste like poo!

If fresh eggs taste like poo then my 2 year old son likes to eat poo. He eats the first egg that is laid evey morning and it is always warm when we get it so I know it is as fresh as they come.

I did have an egg once that tasted rather nasty. It wasn't just laid, though, but was a couple days old. It tasted kind of rotten, but it wasn't. The only thing I could think of was that maybe the chicken had eaten something that had messed with the flavor, but I never was able to figure out what the issue was with that egg.
