No. She had capped nerve endings or something like that. Not the full blown disease, but signs of a background infection. I’ll ask. :)

Sure. It’s just the prelim, but I doubt much will change. Let me see if I can figure out how to redact my personal info on a pdf on my phone. :)

How can I post a pdf? Or do I have to convert it to something else?

Welp... pretty straightforward. They didn’t beat around the bush. I think this is all you might end up with. Meaning, I think they very much know cause of death, and there won’t be much more info in the final. I mean, as unexpected as this is, it could be a lot worse.

I had to find out what "grossly normal" meant. Basically it means everything is visibly normal but can be better assessed with another study.
The bottom line is the fatty liver disease, they call it 'syndrome.' That's the killer.

You suspected a mild respiratory problem in your flock. So far so good, it hasnt shown up in the initial report. That's good news! :)

    No, that’s fine. :)

I heard back from the pathologist and she just meant feed, not necessarily grain. Bagheera definitely had too much fat in her abdomen and a lousy liver. Poor Bagheera. I hope it was quick when she died. Sounds like it was. Sort of.
