What’s going on here ???

I would first do no food at night and check him in the morning before any food to see if it is emptying.

In your other thread @azygous gave you good info with a link to common crop problems. Did you read through that?
I will try that. He’s so young 😞 poor guy. I did read through that. I forgot all about it though, so I’ll read that again. I’m hoping for good results with him, out of the 8 Easter Egger chicks I received, he’s the only cockerel with color & is so friendly

Read that link a few times and then start ruling out the things that don't fit his condition.

Also pay close attention to exactly HOW a crop bra is to be fitted. Crop bra should NOT be the first thing to try.

Okay, will do. Do I need to separate him or can he stay with his flock mates?

While wearing special equipment? He should ONLY wear that IF all causes are ruled out first. An impacted or sour crop cannot be fixed by a crop bra. A slow crop that hangs so low the food is below the crops exit point is what a crop bra helps.

IF he needs one it can be worn while still with his flock. You will need to check it daily to make sure it still fits and has not shifted.

I had a brahma that wore one for a year before she was well enough to not need it. She stayed with the flock. Bonus....daily checks made her more accepting of being handled.

I meant should I separate him for the overnight wait of seeing if his crop empties. That’s helpful information though so I’ll keep that in my brain. His crop isn’t as full as it was, but it still isn’t flat & empty this morning after taking food for overnight. 😕 His crop feels tight & full like a normal crop is supposed to feel, but it shouldn’t because he hasn’t had any food yet.

No need to separate his so long as you can get a hold of him to be able to monitor that crop.

Since it was not empty this morning it is time to start checking for sour crop and impacted crop. Monitor whether he is active, eating, drinking like a normal bird would be.

Okay good, he’s one of my friendly chicks so getting ahold of him isn’t any issue.

He appears like his usual self. Active, & drinking. I haven’t given him his food back yet. Should I give him some? His crop is still full. This morning when I felt it, I could feel some small debris inside. It just feels soft now, nothing pokey. He’s also still doing the motion with his head. I also heard it gurgle too.

When he’s laying on my chest, he starts doing the neck motion & his crop starts gurgling.

Another edit, sorry. I was trying to pick him up off my chest to put him back with his flock mates, trying to not push on his crop, & he spit up some liquid. Didn’t smell like anything.

This is how Slade looks right now. The entire white part is just.... full. 😞 This is
My first year with chickens, second flock I’m raising, & my first health issue to show up, after Slade spit up a little it scared my daughter. So we’re both a little concerned. 😱
