What’s going on in this egg?

Sly will never fertilize an egg in her life. ;)

But she should lay some. :drool

She looks like a production Red to me. A boy that big and red would surely be sporting some pointy saddle feathers by now. She has a lovely "hen bump"... and not a single male feather to speak of. :celebrate

That being said... I DID have a production red pullet that insisted on mounting some of the subordinate gals. She is at a new home. She was lovely to humans and laid beautiful eggs. But... :smack

Well Sly likes to boss people around and watch what is going on and if your cleaning i guess makes these simi "what are you doing in my coop noises"

All part of being confident... which some people think is friendliness. ;)

My friendliest, most confident birds always insist on being up in my business. :he They might find a bug or a freckle on my leg! :p It's all part of the enrichment for them. Activity is exciting for curious minds. I've got one gal who will follow me around griping, jump onto my shoulder from the ground, and ride me up and down the ladder while I screw things in!
