What’s In A Name?

Pics
::SNORT::
Your name always reminds me of my friends bowling team. A guy, his wife and another guy.
Their team was called 4 balls and a split.
reminds me of an "Over the line" team name.... Its like Baseball... three member to the team.... Most team names are Adult rated. This one was to Gals and A guy.... named Fritz and T.... O.... Never mind :oops:

its a party... for sure..

Oh, I see it’s the new you and I like it. You done good, Texas Kiki, you done good!

BTW, my dad lives in Houston, not that you would know him or anything. I mean there’s only a gazillion people that live there.
Two gazillion. Do you know which side/area? Maybe I'll run into him at the grocery store one day.

I have been through similar with a grandchild, my only granddaughter, Mallorie. The waiting, the constant changes, did I say the waiting? It’s all such an enormous, emotional rollercoaster. One week feels more like one month. Time stands still. She is now my little, heavenly angel. :love One thing I've noticed, in the end we come out a little stronger, with scars, but a little stronger.
:hugs:hugs

I actually thought about creating a thread like this, but didn't think it would get much participation. :p
I made my username thinking I could easily change it later. I didn't have any chickens at the time - was just dreaming of them. I thought I would start out with chicks (chix), but was given 4 hens just last October as someone my husband knew was moving and couldn't take them. They were already a year and 2 yrs old and made a good stater flock. I have often thought of changing my name because I never got chicks. I've got muscovy ducks now and a cockerel as well. Still thinking one day I might get chicks and start from the beginning, but I need an expanded set up for that. I couldn't get rid of my older girls.:love
Here is a funny story regarding the name Mimi.
I moved quite a bit and always changed schools as a child. Always making new friends was quite interesting. Well, one time these two girls I befriended kept calling me Mimi. After probably 3 months, I finally asked them why they called me Mimi. They responded, "Well, that's your name isn't it?" I was like no. They said that when I told them my name that I was so quiet they thought I said Mimi.
Thinking back on it, we must have been a pretty shy group as I never corrected them and they never clarified. :D Maybe I was just tired of correcting people by then as my name is always misspelled and misstated. :lol:
Awe, I love it, all of it. And it will never be too late to be a Soon2BChixMom. Every new batch of chicks is new and different and special.

Me oh my, I know all too well about changing schools. I was an only child, Army brat and my dad was stationed somewhere new just about every 18 months. Making new friends about every other year was tough, but I’ll tell you one thing, I never meet a stranger. :lau While you were shy and quiet, the kids probably wished I would shut up. :smackAnyway, all is well. I successfully made it through moving nine times, living in 5 different states and being in three different schools during four years of high school. Obviously, that’s why I’m such a homebody now. And, I LOVE being called Mimi.

I almost didn’t start this thread either, because I was afraid no one would read it, much less post. I’m so thankful they have and I’ve learned so flipping much. I love it!
