My name is "Janie" & I didn't really want to make my last name public. So. "janiedoe" just makes sense to me.

Oh me, where do I start on my reply! First of all, I like the name PuffyPoo22. It goes back to an older post of where I like to make up rhyming names for uh, the things I love, for sake of identification. And it definitely is a name that rolls off your tongue. I like it and think you should keep it. It is one, among several on this site, that is recognizable by sight, not by reading. I don’t know if that even makes sense. My username is after one of my silkies, Puffy. Her name kind of morphed from Puffy to Puffy Girl to Puffy Goo........I thought that didn't make any sense, so uh..........my current username doesn't make any sense either. (In fact it's worse ;-; )
My username was originally going to be SummerChix (since at that point we only 'rented' chickens during the summer,) but I changed it last minute. I prefer SummerChix now though...especially since I now have a pullet I named Summer.
I'm going to explain @PollyGirl21 's username too, since she's my sister, and her username kind of applies to me too. Polly is one of our favorite chickens, a d'Uccle named in honor of the late Dolly the d'Uccle. 21 is the number on the leg band on her leg, and it also happens to be my lucky number (At least it occurs a lot in my daily life).
If I were to get a PFM and change my username, I would change it to either back to SummerChix or to Boston Lobstah. On other sites and forums it's been that, so mostly it would be for consistency. I don't live in Boston and I don't eat Lobster, but I have a goofy Lobster collection--Lobster socks, clothes, hats, slippers, stuffed animals, etc. And I live in MA and Boston is one of my fave cities.
You know, not long ago I wanted to change my name because it didn’t seem “chicken related” enough and it’s not a cute name. But as I said in my explanation, it is the reason I was allowed the opportunity to begin chickening, so I guess I should keep it.

I do like SummerChix too. Although, I cringe to think of ALL the bio security hazards that would be associated with renting chickens. A shiver just went down my spine.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with a lucky number. And I love the name Boston Lobstah. I’m an Army brat and used to live in Hudson Mass, eons ago. Living there I developed a certain affinity for Plymouth Rock and the whole Pilgrim/Revolutionary scenario. Salem, on the other hand, kinda creeped me out.My dad made me an ice skating rink in our back yard. I thought that was the best.
And perfect!Well, My last name is Miller. And I have a small-ish hobby farmPretty simple..
