What’s In A Name?

I learned programming on cards in college, just because they made us, so we appreciated PL1. I saw a guy drop his final project on the last day of the semester. Cards went everywhere. :th
I saw that as well. Being a Girl I wasnt offered the same computer classes in college. they pushed me toward secretarial stuff related to programming. Evein theough I had been programming in Basic and Fortran for more than a year.

I took Boulion Algebra because I wanted to, Loved thinking in ones and zeros. and the logic behind it. Not wiring sorting machines....

I wound up changing my degree to Art... Then dropped out.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme

The lyrics just popped into my head while I was trying to think of a username. I tend to just pick random things for usernames.
I loved that song when I was trying to learn how to play the piano... My singing is no better but I tried that as well. :gig

Course - that's the name - I use it all the time  Wouldn't the term "binary" suffice?

Yep.... The last time I used it was in College back in 79.... Binary is infinitely easier than Hexidecimal and YEP I did look it up.

I suppose no one uses Fortran any more.... Visual Basic or C++... sigh. I stopped using Basic when DOS was integrated in Windows.

I took programming in place of Stats. It counted as a Math credit. Advanced Math was not my thing. I barely scraped by. Got an "A" in programming.

Too funny. I am notorious for making up rhyming names. I do this with just about all of my animals, my sons, my grandchildren and even some of the people I used to work with. Yeah, weird I guess. But I’m a fun kind of person. And even funnier is the fact that some of the names have stuck and that’s what other people call them now. :yesss:

But I still can’t believe 007 didn’t respond to my Bond Girls joke. I’m crushed. :lau
I got it but I don't raise chickens I raise pheasants and quail....I guess I could have Bond girls but I don't bother naming my birds, or if I do it's only 2 or 3.
