Our grandson Charlie. He'll be 9 months in November. Very fortunate that he lives with us. Our daughter is a single mom so we moved her back home to help her out and let her get a fresh start. So I'm a stay at home grandma for the time being. I watch Charlie when our daughter works and on my 'off' days I'm in the next town over checking on our 24 year old son. He went into cardiac arrest June of this year and has had a long road of recovery so I like to make sure he's doing ok

What an adorable little boy!

So sorry to hear about your son, I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

He's a cutie! So sorry about your son. I hope he's doing well! I'm only 35, but I'm a grandma to twin girls and I have a grandson on the way! Never thought I'd enjoy being a grandma so much! I'll be praying for you and your son! And you're daughter! I know how hard it is to be a single mama!
Congratulations!! I just love being a grandma so much!
Dr's can't explain why he went into cardiac arrest, it's so frustrating. They put him into a hypothermic coma and then slowly warmed his body back up and we had to wait.... wait to see if he woke up.... wait to see if he didn't. But I'm very pleased to say he's doing great! He spent a month in grand rapids at Mary free bed, they specialize in head/ brain injuries and have a great recovery and rehab program. He had to learn to walk again, talk again.... he moves a little slower than he used to and his peripheral vision isn't great but he's doing wonderful!

That's the sort of thing that makes a person thankful for all they have. Must have been terribly frightening for all of you. Glad to hear he's making progress :hugs
