Only twoā€”Wind beneath my wings (Bette Middler) and Shannon ( Henry Gross) both remind me of my twin sister, (Shannon) who is alive and well, I will add.
I just hear these songs and think about what I would do without her and boom! cry. I was a child when Gross wrote the song, and I was just old enough to begin to comprehend the words and know it had to do with loss. I have tears even now!

'J'attendrai' (the much older , Tino Rossi version). affects me deeply. It is about waiting for someone.
