What 3 Songs Make you want to Cry? 🥲😭

Pics
Only two—Wind beneath my wings (Bette Middler) and Shannon ( Henry Gross) both remind me of my twin sister, (Shannon) who is alive and well, I will add.
I just hear these songs and think about what I would do without her and boom! cry. I was a child when Gross wrote the song, and I was just old enough to begin to comprehend the words and know it had to do with loss. I have tears even now!

Yes. How could I read your reply to this thread and not also be moved?

'J'attendrai' (the much older , Tino Rossi version). affects me deeply. It is about waiting for someone.

Sample Lyrics:

Flowers are fading away
The fire is out
Shadows are falling
In the garden
The clock ticks
With an unhappy tone
I think I can hear your footsteps
The wind brings me
Far away sounds
I watch my door
And listen in vain
Alas, there is nothing
Nothing comes

I will wait
Day and night, I will always await
Your return

How lonely are the hours in which we wait for one who may never return?

Oh wait... I was supposed to choose 3. Ok. Well, I will just play that one 3 times.

I have a ton of songs that make me cry so it depends on what kinda "cry" you mean, lol

Relationship loss kinda cry: "Someone You Loved" by Lewis Capaldi, "Impossible" by James Arthur, "Someone Like You" by Adele (Yeah, I know, that last one is kinda DUH)

Life kinda cry: "Hurt" by Johhny Cash, "My Life" by Imagine Dragons, "Shatter Me" by Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hail

someone died kinda cry: "Wrecked" by Imagine Dragons, "My Immortal" by Evanescence, "Over You" by Miranda Lambert.

Yeah, I kinda only listen to sad music. If it's not sad, it's angry-sad or angry. lol

I shared too much, okay bye
I listen to ‘Shatter Me’! Some of the others you mention make me want to check them out. :p

I feel like I might’ve heard ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ before. Hmm..

The title reveals all.

Tag your friends! :p

I thought up the idea for this thread whilst listening to ‘Father and Son’ from the Guardians of Galaxy vol. 2 so DUH because Yondu… 👀
Yep- okay no spoilers.
The other two are ‘Wings’ by Halfty and Winks, you should probably have context for what the song’s about but I’m not going to explain that because it’d take me a really really long time and I don’t want to. : D
The last one is ‘We can still Stop Her’ from Inside Out. Just.. yeah. *sniff* hey, the movie IS all about emotions after all..
Here’s my updated list too..
