What a buncha pests!

Yah, I am pretty lucky with my horses, they do tolerate a lot, despite the fact that they never get much peace and quiet with as many noisy birds as I have, lol. It surprises me that cranky old mare tolerates them as much as she does, but I think she knows if she puts any effort into chasing one off, then 5 more jump in her bucket when she's not looking, lol so she closes her eyes, shoves her face in the bucket and chows down fast.

I have even seen a super brazen Guinea hop up on my big gentle bay gelding that was laid flat out snoozin' hard in the sun... Of course that didn't go over too well and the horse was up on his feat in a half a second looking spooked and insulted as all heck, lol. I'd swear I heard that Guinea cackling under his breath too, lol. Wish I would have gotten that on tape!

My Burro on the other hand chases the Guineas every chance they give him, for no reason at all

so they give him a wide birth and don't even look his direction when he is eating, lol.
