It has been an eventful 48 hours here with several firsts. I had a customer wipe me completely out of eggs for the first time and I also got my first double yolker and my first shelless egg. My question pertains to the shelless egg: is it safe to eat? I wasn’t planning to eat it myself, but I have a couple turkey poults who need a little beyond what the all flock can give them. Is it safe to scramble and feed to them?

You can feed them back to your birds. Don't eat them yourself.

I do, and fill it as it empties.

Just made that and a fairy egg for the poults. Both were surprisingly normal inside. That membrane was a tough thing to break. I’d had it in a cup in the fridge. Hopefully I don’t kill my turkeys!

Mine are only eight days old. Doing well and crossing my fingers they stay that way.
