Had a family move here a couple years ago and the first thing the guy did was run for sheriff. He lost. Started a tire business and didn't know how to get a tire off the rim.
Well he was doing a quit claim deed on this old house in town. Did not have the deed yet and rented out the house to a family with small children. well on Easter the family had forgotten to turn off the stove and the house burned to the ground. Nobody was there.
Came out there was no insurance on the house as is required. Claims the insurance company wouldn't cover it because of the foundation.
Well the town has sent him a letter to clean up the burned house. This guy then informs them he stopped the quit claim process and does not own the house and has turned the deed back to the former owner.
Also went around town telling people the fire chief was drunk on the fire which I know to be a lie.
Waiting for karma to get him!
