Montana IS great. Any new place is hard at first but she needs to use EVERY program the military has to introduse you to the town you are in!!! It may be cold in the winter but it is so fun, and the summers are to die for. The country side is THE best.

If they are going to Malmstrom its in my hometown. Its a good place to live. This year has been a seriously cruddy winter but they arent always like that. Montana is a spectacular place to live

Yep lived in Cheyenne for a couple of years;. Great town except for frontier days then its tourist playing cowboys. I think everyone is very friendly. My Dh was stationed in Cheyenne when he was in the air force. The wind always blows there and the winters are cold and snowy. We did get snow in June. I think she will love it there.

I don't think I've ever been there when there wasn't at least a 30mph wind blowing. Don't they have a NORAD base up there with B52's?
