My Ameraucanas are actually Easter Eggers as most Ameraucanas are (true Ameraucanas are fairly rare, not sold by hatcheries, and lay only blue eggs), but I think that the earliest I've had any of them lay is about 18 weeks old. Most of them started from 20-24 weeks. They typically give me 3-4 eggs per hen per week. They are my granddaughter's favorite chickens. She loves the different colored eggs that they lay.
