What age did your bantam cochins start laying?

Any news? Any eggs yet?

I started getting 2 more small brown eggs. I am not sure if it's my other little bantam or a regular chicken. It's bigger than my bantam egg, but smaller than a regular egg.
BTW, I get 4-5 eggs q week from Cupcake.

She has got to be getting close, she is consistanly squatting.
Ill be showing her at a fair next week so that may postpone her egg laying some. But im hoping atleast one egg before winter.
4-5 eggs is really good for a bantam cochin!!

The little brown at the bottom is from cupcake. The 2 on top are from my adult chickens. The ones in the middle I found and I don't know who laid them yet. But I am stoked!!!

Im going to go to this show knowing nothing to do. But ill catch on quickly and im not doing any showmanship this year.
I just washed all the chickens and now its raining, so that means muddy chickens.

At a day past 20 weeks old Munchkin layed her first egg, i caught her as she was finishing!!! I though Muffin would lay first but Munckin did!
