What age did your roo start crowing?

4 weeks?? Wow that is really young to crow. It must have been so cute :yiipchick

They were in their brooder in my garage. I was out there messing around and heard this noise and was like "what on earth is that". Finally realized it was coming from my brooder so i sat ad watched. Sure enough one little roo was perched on the heater trying to crow. Lol. It was really funny.

OEGBs 4 months to the day. Really cute to hear and watch. Big rooster attitude in a small package.

Buff Orpingtons 6+months. These roosters are not going to win any speed records in maturing.

Welsummer along with Welsummer/Buff O crosses- 4-5 months.

Welsummer/Speckled Sussex crosses-5 months.

My Cochin bamtans somewhere around 3months and just started crowing.

Are you able to hold your roo? Is he friendly? My Ralph is a sweety and I can pick him up. The girls are still bossing him around. He tries to stand taller than them to dominate but then gives in...kinda cute to watch.

Yes so far most of my roosters are kinda lap pets.the cochin chick doesn't really like being touched but is pretty friendly.
