What age do you dub?

I’ve heard so many different answers to this question. I’ve seen some say 18 weeks, I’ve seen some say 6 to 8 months, and I’ve seen some say a year. So what age do you dub?

10-11 months. No earlier run a chance of them growing back. I would rather say I raised some stags in 2019 don’t dub them until winter of 2020 give them a year.

I’ve heard it’s better to do it when it’s cold because it lowers blood amount.

Yes the colder the better. I try to do mine by the signs when blood is in the feet. Take water away 24hrs before trimming give it back to them ASAP and get them out of your hands quick as possible.

As said 10 or so months. By that time they should be grown enough if you're doing your part right to where it won't grow back any.
