What age is a chicken considered to be pretty much fully grown?

I got a chicken today, a maran.. and I think I was told she was 4 months.. LOL... I think she's huge.. cause all I have is bantams and the LF are all chicks.. so this is what my husband says is our first real chicken..heheheheeh

What age is considered about their full size?

I have tons of chicks.. and my oldest before this one arrived.. is 6 months.. old.. no eggs..LOL, but so looking forward to an egg!!!!

as well as how big do chickens really get.. LOL
 
She's a pretty girl, I'd call her NH. She should be a good layer. As pale as her comb and wattles are I suspect it will be a month or so before you see eggs. My NH laid at about 20 weeks.

no she is a maran from a top breeder, someone who breeds exclusively marans in one area etc....heheeh... shes just very coppery.. NH.. ohhhhhhhhh I so get it now..!!!

I just wanted to know what size do they get.. how old when they get to their full size for the most part

6 months of age.. one year old..two year old..etc

I don't mean to be a jerk, but I don't think that is a Marans. Mine have feathered legs, and my wheaten is much lighter than yours. Plus they typically have more of a U shape to their shape, I believe...
