what age to eat extra Sussex cockerels

what would you do, if it were you? Wait til they are bigger, but tougher and have gone thru more feed, or would you eat them at 12-14 wks or so and be done with it?

Also, would you keep just 1, or also a spare? I expect to have something like 6-7 hens, also might toss the 2 ISA Browns in with them.

Really? I have a 10 week old sussex and he is as big as my smaller (RIR) hens! I don't think I'll eat him though
