Please tell my new owner if I'm a boy or a gurl. She can't keep me if I'm a boy and I'm becoming rather fond of my new family...Thank YOU!!! Bugaaaaaaaaaaawk
I'm just so afraid those pointy tail feathers mean she's a roo.
She's in with a little bantam dude that was guaranteed to be a girl, too, but 'Little Big Man' started crowing 3 days after we brought him home.
They are inseparable - although kind of an odd couple...would 2 Roos be inseparable?
I mean they miss each other when I separate them. They are in the same cage together waiting until they get big enough to play with the big girls in the big yard, but when I take one or the other out to play alone they cheep like crazy for each other. We've taken the Little Big Man out and the Eagle (pullet pictured) (who is 3 times his size) cries for him like a baby. Little Big Man cries for Eagle, too...but, not quite as much.
I'm going to try to attach a photo of the 2 of them. Odd couple - but, definitely attached to each other.
Here are Little Big Man and his (hopefully) Lady friend Eagle.
I have no clue what breed he is.
Any ideas there?
He's almost all feathered out and crowing -
but, he looks like a bird more than a chicken.
He's really tiny! & gentle...almost loving
I wonder if we'll Ever be able to let him out of the cage without worrying he's going to be murdered in the Land of the Dolls.
He's an escape artist that can fit in places our regular hens cannot. We did clip one wing, but he still gets a lot of lift off the ground.
I wish I knew what he was exactly so I could better learn how to properly take care of him...
He seems much older than the other much larger pullet he's with? I bought them together...he's combing and feathering out faster and just waaaaaaay smaller.

I am not a Bantam person, but to me he looks like a Crele Old English Game Bantam. Look up pictures to compare. Be aware that folks that show then dub (remove) the comb and wattles so the head wont look the same.
