Sweetshoplady - Thanks for the link. One of the bald males appears to be a jumbo. He has turned out to be about half again as big as the rest of the birds. I would like to get a couple of females to put with him when I get his cage built. Please keep your eyes open for a couple of young ladies. He is the dark colored one.

Monarc23 - thanks for all the great information. You really have done your homework.

In my breeders i have 2 males and 4 females, and the agressive male seriously pecked the other male to a point where he was bleeding all over his head. I did take him out to let him heal, but as a result the fertility of the breeders dropped so significantly, that the last batch of eggs i put in the incubator (26) not one egg hatched and no sign of a chick or blood for that matter showed up in any of the eggs... So although it is good to remove the injured birds, its a pain when the aggressive cock is the dud one...Anyway he has been removed now and is destined for the pot.
