Can anyone tell me what breed my new adopted chicken is?? I think she is about 5 or 6 months old.

looks like a brown laced wyandotte (blw) that's my guess.

Coloring-wise it kinda looks like a dark cornish hen to me. I couldn't find a pic of a brown laced wyandotte

M guess is dark cornish also. Is she bantam-sized or standard?

It's a Dark Cornish-that's not a guess, that's what she is. I don't know of a Brown Laced Wyandotte?

Looks exactly like my Dk Cornish pullets, mine are bantams but look just like standards. They are beautiful birds, mine aren't too friendly though...

Great!! Thanks everyone. She has pretty coloring, but is pretty skittish. Her friend that she came with - the white cochin- is friendly... and so soft.
