What am I?

If the comb is single, you probably have a Silver Phoenix. If she has a walnut comb (flat) you probably have a Silver Duckwing.  Both breeds come in bantam, but are uncommon. More often, people think they are bantams, because they aren't used to the smaller body types of these fowl. They will be a a few pounds lighter then dual-purpose breeds like the Welsummer.

RhodeRunner, here is a picture of her comb, or where it should be, because she really doesn't have one.

I'm also thinking Phoenix, the only thing throwing me are those stark yellow legs. The other option would be a silver Leghorn, but that long tail and small comb say Phoenix.

Do you know what hatchery she came from?

I don't know where she came from but I will try to find out today.

Even with the yellow legs? She's beautiful, that's for sure! Will the tail get longer?

Yes, the Yokohama breed is supposed to have yellow legs. The Silver Duckwing color variety is not APA recognized, and is super rare. That is why no one thought of it. Cackle hatchery is one of the few breeders in the States that raise them. Here is a video of their breeding flock.

It is the Phoenix, that is actually supposed to have the blue/ashy shanks.

Her tail will get longer with age. It will not touch the ground, like the roosters. But, she should grow to have a beautiful and full tail.

I have one that looks a lot like her, she was supposed to be an Amerecauna, but she just started laying, and her eggs are definitely brown, not blue or green. She doesn't have much of a comb, and has green legs... any ideas???

That's a walnut comb alright, nice and flat! I was wrong on both guesses...you actually have a Silver Duckwing Yokohama! Enjoy!

She will lay an off-white or tinted egg.

Can someone please help me understand what Silver Duckwing patterned feathers are..... I googled it but didn't get much for results other than pictures and links to posts containing the verbage!

Thanks

Wow, that's definitely her. Thanks for all of your help! Somebody on Instagram said Yokohama too.
