I bought this chicken? about 4 weeks ago and it is supposed to be an Americana , no puffy cheeks here. It has much bigger legs and a longer neck than the other chick purchased at the same time. I am almost thinking it is a turkey but maybe it could be a rooster. Any ideas??

With the big legs and red comb I'm pretty sure it is a male EE. I have some EEs that don't have the puffy cheeks either

That's an Easter egger cockerel... "americana" is the misleading name used to market Easter Eggers as though they were ameraucana. While some Easter Eggers have beards, muffs, etc, clean faces are just as common

Well, poo! Not what I wanted to hear. I can’t have males here because of the crowing. Thanks for the responses. I new to this chicken stuff.
