Hi Folks -

Here's one for ya - a 10 week old bantam that hatched from a blue egg, has very little tail (if any) and has yellow legs. Both parents had slate legs and tails, as do siblings. Mom was white, sort of Columbian looking, dad was a duckwing of some sort. The comb on this baby has not changed in size at all in the last month, except for recently getting alittle pink (face too), and there has been no crowing as yet.

I'm guessing this would be classified as an EE, but any ideas as to what breed(s) are in his or her background? Any opinions on sex?

Thanks so much!

Sure is a pretty baby!IMO, and it's very inexperienced , a pullet is what you have. Looks a little brahma in her but no feather legs , just good ol mutt.

A very nice little EE you have.

If she hatched from a blue egg, she probably has ameracauna/aracauna in her somewhere along the line. (sp?)

Looks like a good start to a buff columbian EE breeding project!!!
