What am I

We got this little one as our random bird from Murray McMurrays and have no idea what it is. I think it's a pullet and is about 8 weeks old. I would love to hear some ideas, she is small and dainty, reminds me of a bird more then a chicken.

Hi, and welcome! I would be interested in seeing a photo of your Lucy as either the resemblance is minimal (essentially that both have black and white patterning) or your bird is not a barred rock.

I don't have a pic of just her on my camera but she looks exactly like the one above....I have been researching on Murray McMurray and I apparently didn't get the barred rock I ordered, it is in fact a Silver Spangled Hamburg. My error in response but I am new to chickens and I was going by what I was supposed to have.

You appear to have either a Silver Spangled Hamburg or a Silver Sebright (with Hamburg being more likely). And, it looks like a rooster.

I agree with the other posters--it looks like you have a Silver Spangled Hamburg cockerel.

Than you everyone, it is good to know what we have. I never thought to look at bantams. I was really hoping it was a pullet, we already have two roosters.
