What and where are the BEST identification leg bands????

I'm finding size 12 is the largest they make now in the bandettes. I want to band sussex & wyandottes. Would those fit on a BIG sussex roo? I had size 11 in the spirals and they were fine for the hens but had to take em off the roos they got too tight. For the toe punch do they ever grow back?

12 should work fine as they are meant for the larger chickens. The list I have for each number lists 12 as good for wild geese, rocks ,turkey hens, jersey giant cocks, orpingtons. So as you can see they will work. 11 is listed for Rock hens, wyandottes, RIR hens, leghorn cocks. Now I use 12 on my hens with no problems some of mine have thinner legs and some thicker but 12 fits all with no problems. These can expand a bit with growth I do not think they are as spring tight as the spirals. No toe punch does not grow back most of the time. There is always that rare exception.

I use plastic spirals that I purchase on ebay from a seller called "greenkoi1". After shipping, they come out to about $0.29 each, no matter what size you order. They were beautifully packaged in different bags with the sizes clearly labeled.

They're durable, seem to be comfortable, and they stay on the bird unless you take them off. I've only had one duck manage to get hers off (on three separate occasions) - but she's the biggest stinker in the flock, and is always escaping her run and generally being a nuisance (her name is "Piper" because she's also the most vocal duck I've ever had). I'm sure she's an exception.
