I'd also guess fox, although I suppose it could be a fluffy cat
If you manage to catch it and it's a fox please bear in mind that the mated pair will be feeding their young this time of year. If you remove the mom or dad the young may perish. Overall, foxes are friends to the chicken owner as long as they don't actually get into your coop. They eat a LOT of mice and rats and may drive other mid-sized predators, like raccoons, from the area. It's always a trade-off, you remove one thing and you get more of another....

I agree with Meara on this. They (fox) are in good numbers in my neck of the woods. I would think twice about offing it this time of year. The rabbit population is at a decently low level right now, and the ground hogs are rare. The year after seeing 5 dead fox kits in the road with a parent, both of those pesky animal groups soared and ate everything.
Secure the coop and enjoy. What make and model camera took that pic, very nice?

Regardless, try making your coop and run more secure instead of killing the fox. Obliterating predators isn't the answer; securing your livestock housing is.

lol i dont know why they named it a chupacbra because that means goat sucker, and fox arent rare if you can hunt them well then thats magical
