The most terrifing creature in the world ---- the green tree frog! I grew up in FL, in the woods, thousands of them. They would sit above doors while others came and went and wait for me to try to pass, and jump to attack, get stuck in my hair, on my skin. Thier little sucktion cup feet, skinny legs and slimey skin, can't stand them. Moved up here nearly 20 years ago, thought I was rid of them, no, they are here, not as many. But something must be from the devil that is that small and can somehow survive 20 below temps (a cold blooded animal). I am sure there is no record of them in the state until I moved here, punishment for a past life I am sure.
Just a note, snakes, normal (not from hell) frogs, toads , alligators, sharks, don't bother me at all. The one other animal I fear is a skink, but it is a distant second, and we don't have them up here.
I can't stand crocs or alligators!! Come to think about it I can't stand reptiles at all.
My uncle asked if he could keep his boa constrictor at my house while he moved. I said okay but don't forget to come back and get it.
I didn't want to tell him I wouldn't be able to sleep with that nasty thing in my house. I guess I should have.
Anyway, one day I come home from work and found that he stopped off and put a mouse in the tank with the snake but didn't take the snake home with him.
I called and told him it was time to come pick the snake up and he said no he didnt have time.
So I went outside and found some teenage guys standing around and asked them if they wanted it.
Of course a teenage boy has to have a snake to be cool.
So a few months later my uncle came back for his snake to find that I still had the tank with the mouse in it but no snake.
I kept the mouse for a good long time until it died of old age.
Don't know what ever happened to that nasty snake.

I hear you. It's all part of their evil plan. They look pretty to lull you into a false sense of security and then when you least expect it............
and spiders too for me. Any shape or size - I hate them all. *shudder*
