What annoyed you today?

Being told by my boss that since I have an injury sustained at work that I have to go home on sick leave until I get full clearance to return to work from my doctor. Even though I have been at work for the last two months on light duties and not missed a day because of my injury. Then also finding out that the company insurance providor has rejected my claim for medical expenses to be paid.

My foot started hurting like heck in ther middle of church. (Bad grease burn a few weeks ago, not completly healed.)

Something took my favorite pair of birds today....

A telephone call from a nearly inarticulate employee of another agency. I don't know what the heck he was trying to tell me, or find out, or .... anything.

I don't like to be rude to anybody, so I was frustrated and found it difficult to continue the conversation when I simply did not understand him. I have 27 years of experience dealing with distraught people calling 9-1-1, but I couldn't figger out what this guy was telling or asking me. (He wasn't distraught or having an emergency, so the tactics used for those sorts of calls wouldn't have been helpful.)

I had to refer him to my supervisor. And that annoyed me too, because I pride myself on my communications skills.

The small screaming apes... I mean children, have been booted out of their homes into the nice weather.
I know kids should go outside and play and enjoy the nice weather, but do they need to make an atrocious racket while they are at it?
I can't remember being so loud I could be heard 2 houses away.

I just want to pop them with a high powered Nerf gun.
