I noticed a lot of squatting... The comb grew/reddened almost overnight.. Restless behaviour the day before the first egg (trips back and forth to the coop, clucking loudly)

My two Banties also got really, really friendly. Acting like they wanted me to pick them up, sort of talking to me all the time.

The first egg photo is what I believe are two eggs which somehow joined when laid prematurely.

I would suggest putting your expected to lay group on layers feed.

thanks for all the help

they are still squatting and nothing else so i have a while to wait yet.

i doown the leyer pellets but not using withthe baby chicken around he i think it is a he is about 11 weeks old not and did not want to give him somthing that may harm as i know the second food is put down he eats it all !
